My name is Lia London. At age 21, when my peers were drinking, I took the missionary discussions and joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. After graduation from college (Western Oregon), I served a full-time mission in Guatemala for 18 months. A year later, I married an amazing Chilean immigrant in the Portland temple. We have two teens, twenty years of service with Seminaries & Institutes, and currently attend two wards (one Spanish-speaking, where my husband is the bishop, and one our local English ward).
I have been (or still am) a singer/actor, a professional student, a high school teacher, a home school mom, a published author, and a black belted martial artist.
